These terms apply when you use Budg, an app made by Goodwill Enterprise. By using the app you agree to them.
What Budg is
Budg is a tool for recording your own spending, income, budgets and savings goals. It works on your phone and keeps your data there. An account is optional: you need one only for Budg Pro cloud backup, and you sign in with Google.
Not financial advice
Budg shows the numbers you enter and simple sums of them. It does not give financial, tax or investment advice. Decisions about your money are yours.
Your data is in your hands
Your data lives on your phone, and without a backup Budg cannot recover it for you. If you lose your phone, uninstall the app or clear its storage without a backup, your data is gone. Keep your own backup file using Back up now, and keep it somewhere safe; backup files are not encrypted. With Budg Pro you can also keep your five most recent backups in your account. You can delete your account, and every cloud backup, at any time in Settings → Account.
Using the app
You may use Budg for your own personal budgeting. Please do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, or use it to break the law.
Budg Pro
Budg Pro is an optional subscription, monthly or yearly, sold through Google Play. Google Play shows the price in your currency before you buy, takes the payment and renews the subscription at the end of each period until you cancel. Where a free trial is offered, Google Play shows its length, and the subscription starts at the end of it unless you cancel before then. You can cancel at any time in Google Play → Subscriptions; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current period. Prices may change with notice. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Everything Budg does without Pro stays free.
No warranty
Budg is provided as it is. We work to make it correct and reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of mistakes or always available. Check anything important against your bank or your receipts.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using Budg, including lost data or decisions made using its figures. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be removed.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be in the app with a new date at the top. If you keep using Budg after that, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
